WSIL TV— A hearing on reforming Illinois’ process for drawing legislative districts is on the agenda when the Illinois Senate Re-districting Committee returns to Springfield this week. It’s just on one of the changes reform advocates have recommended for cleaning up corruption in Illinois.
Mike Lawrence, former director of the Paul Simon Public Policy Institute at Southern Illinois University, explains the reform process this week in “Talking Politics.”
“Talking Politics” is a partnership between News Three and the Simon Institute. Edan Schultz and Dana Jay co-host the weekly segment Sunday nights during the late newscast.
